Below are some great videos about the Feldenkrais Method.
Feldenkrais® and Musicians:
This is a wonderful video created as part of the Next 25 Years project. Andrew Gibbons, a classical pianist and Feldenkrais Practitioner, discusses how the Feldenkrais Method can improve the playing of a piano. This video will be of interested to anyone wanting to sit comfortably and have their arms move fluidly without unnecessary effort, e.g. someone working on a computer or driving a car.
The Art of Slowing Down – A sense-able approach to running faster
Edward Yu, a Feldenkrais Practitioner, wrote a fantastic book called The art of slowing down – a sense-able approach to running faster. In this video, Edward explains why trying harder does not improve your running, but slowing down can. This is true when you are trying to improve any physical performance (e.g. walking, playing tennis, or even gardening) and not just for running.

Baby Liv
This is another wonderful video created as part of the Next 25 years project. As the creator, Irene Lyon, explains:
This is a montage of a little baby named Liv doing what babies do during their first year of life. It is these first beginnings that form the initial pieces that someone would learn while doing a Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement Lesson. Finding the floor under you, finding the support the environment gives you such that you can move, repetition that is driven by curiosity and exploration such that action can begin to be effortless and more refined.”
Why Things Hurt?
In this TedTalk, Lorimer Moseley (a clinical neuroscientist), explains why things hurt. Specifically, how pain is the brain’s warning signal to you that there is danger. It is the “output” of our brain and not the “output” of our tissues. I would also recommend Moseley’s article: Pain really is in the mind, but not in the way you think.
What is the Feldenkrais Method?
This video, created by the Feldenkrais® Educational Foundation of North America , describes the Feldenkrais treatment especially as it relates to Awareness Through Movement® lessons. The content of the video begins at about 30 seconds in from the start.
“To correct is incorrect” — Moshe Feldenkrais
Another video from the Next 25 years project that explains Moshe Feldenkrais’s unique view that “to correct is incorrect.”
